Well deserved banner plug mate, saw this on CGhub's banner today as well! Undoubtably the most awesome character i've seen in a long time, both in art quality+style as well as execution. Envy
Thx so much! I actually think cghub is the easiest way to find environment concepts. Mostly cause of there search. The others are all great for inspiration but kinda hard to find anything you search for.
I'm back to work. I took a break from the frog and took the opportunity to participate at the CGHub Mass Effect challenge.I hope I'll be able to make it in time. I'll go with a cook chief Volus :
Hey guys, want to share with you my latest work. Initially it was done for a challenge on CGHub, but I wasn't able to finish it in time and only now its completed. Hope you like it. Bigger images are here http://erigoart.com/HTML_3D/witch.html
Since CGhub is history, and i think that site was the best for inspiration is there any change those who are charge here, to open a gallery just like CHGUb. So concept artist to share their work for inspiration and to self promotion?
here you go http://cghub.com/images/view/63143/ you can download it in full res, which is 2000*643. Other amazing artworks is there too. You need to be registered at CGHUB obviously tho.
That monitor looks pretty sweet! I like the addition of extra detail as these props hole up on their own. I spotted the concept on CGHub last week and it's a great one to work from. Looking forward to updates.
new card illustration if anyone is curious about the earlier steps of the image you can check them out on the process tab under the image on cghub http://cghub.com/images/view/767496/ thanks for looking!
+1 on the darkness. Same as Ichii, it looks like it's clamped. From what I can see it looks pretty nice but it's kind of hard to tell... *edit* Same with the rest of the images on CGHub, all with clamped luminance.
I've always thought it was necessary to get permission if you are modelling the piece for your portfolio. There are a few peoples concepts that I found on CGhub that I REALLY want to model for my portfolio, but they never respond to me.
