If they meant texture size, 1500 isn't a power of 2. I guess some studios use textures that are off the power of 2 grid, like Bungie, but its kind of rare isn't it?
I would try not to appear too desperate as people might assume you have been trying and trying to get in and are some how damaged goods to be avoided. "If 50 companies didn't hire this guy I'm sure they had good reasons, and now look he's begging... and humping my leg... is that money he's putting in your pocket, oh crap…
Cool gas station for sure. I'm a bit confused why there is a power pole but no power lines attached. The table and bench also don't look as old or characteristic as the rest of the props. Those are my only critiques.
atom + ion = cheap, consumes not much power and has reasonable amount of power if i was to build up a company, for rendering i either would buy an array of atom dualcores with ion or something completely different
I got hit by the storms here in chicago. The front of my building partially collapsed, and the rear was on fire for a bit due to downed power lines. I hope I get power before the weekends over.
Update#5 I have completed the retopology and UV mapping for the clothing. Although this is a game asset, I want to ensure it has a high level of detail for close-up shots. Therefore, I decided to maintain slightly denser geometry and increase the texel density to about 25 px/cm. I am currently deliberating between two…
It's fully viable, but like with most futuristic things today battery technology is still not as far as we'd wish. There just isn't enough power to keep things afloat and fully powered long enough.
So cool to see so many GPU powered things, it is really amazing. I still have a 580. But will move to a 970 (when they are in stock) as my main and the 580 to power the other stuff.
Sort of fell asleep around 1:30ish, but I'm cutting out the UV for the mace :) The power is out and the internet is down, laptop is tethered to my phone. Hopefully the power goes back online.
Edit: I sorted this out using older Github commits and learning the power of copy and paste. Very pleased to have these lovely tools at my disposal. I wonder if someone might be able to send me a version of this add-on that will work with Blender 2.91 (v1.4 was perhaps the most recent version that worked with the pre 3.0…
