You could make a case for Mudbox's ease of use since it's interface is more similar to traditional 3D apps - but yeah, its sculpting tools on the whole are not as feature-rich as Zbrush's.
Very solid toolset for retopo, uvs, low poly, subd, but really lacks as far as animation, bakeing and rigging. It is also a bitch to script for, it has a scripting interface but it is very convoluted.
3dcoat does faster and better depending on what your user interface likes more. But I know some people that likes Topogun better. I'm sticking with 3dCoat for now.
I think they expect feedback on the official bf4 forums available from the main online interface, hopefully they are getting some good info and its all even better soon. :)
At this early stage i'm already starting to get much more comfortable with the maya interface and where some of the commonly used tool are. and the lego man is starting to take shape nicely.
check this one out http://www.packtpub.com/mastering-ud...velopment/book it has a bunch for cool projects - covering some kismet a little bit of UScript and HUD/GUI interface.
that is pure awesome... interface idea looks like a good start... thick colors, solid animation, and overall simplicity that just make this look like pure fun. keep it up!
Topogun 2 swayed me to try it; then I bought it. I'm impressed with how intuitive the interface is, ease of use and how fast retopo can be done. I'm a believer. Mahlon
I love it! My favourite is the briefcase with the floating interface <3 Although I wasn't sure if I was looking at a gun or a spaceship at first! I don't play much Halo ;)
