Re: When to Apply for Work
You can apply whenever you want. Whether you get a response is another thing. High quality work will get noticed regardless of when you apply. The best chance of getting a reply back is when your work starts to look like the quality in shipped AAA titles. -

@franman what i meant, is what is the final use for the image. I know its an assignment for school. But is it meant to be a rendered image, a AAA game model, a mobile Model, 3D printed model, etc. Each of these has certain limitations, so its good to know what the final outcome will be -

Even if it is not a serious game for a AAA industry does it really injure the IP Holder. And what if is not public. So what is ilegal is to publish. Isnt it? Because if no… -

Do you have a source for this? I would believe 50k-100k, but anything beyond that seems wild. I work on a AAA title atm, and we can not have more than 800k tris on screen at the same time, so having 500k for just a single car seems high. -
