Kinda... It's the same thing except, the surfaces in Maya 2017 won't take the bevel (exception : ShapeShifter) with huge NGons, Maya 2017 has a lot of problems, fresh new bugs, so this is a temporary behavior, I'm waiting on service packs to fix it :)
1. Fantasy (with a couple exceptions) 2. SciFi (again, with a couple exceptions) 3. Epics 4. Anime (mainly because they almost always involve 1-3, but also because the animation usually sucks) 5. Sappy romance novels/films
Haha, I kind of doubt any of the rest of the world gave two shits except that the American media/public made such a big thing of it, so I don't know that you could say it brought shame to your nation. Except maybe in your nations own eyes. :)

Seems like the "trick" was to use very low-pressure Draw brush to gradually build it up. It's easy to zone out and completely forget about structural…
Had been very enthusiastic about megascan materials , company bought the subscription, I tried for quite a while and ended up hardly using them at all. Cover too small spans. Looking either instantly too repeating or otherwise too flat and characterless . Never right balance and extremely hard to tweak. Very few nice…
eld: Totally agree man, its all about the team and how they utilise the tools given. On the other hand tho, exceptional tools in the hands of an exceptional artists well... dom: Woah dude, mad props coming from you!! - I really appreciate it, ill be sure to pass it on to the team!
They all kind of look like they have the same issues-- razor sharp edges (except for the safe, with the the beveled corners on the low), and the spec map doesn't seem to be rendering correctly to me. Looking at the tiny thumbs of the normal maps, they look flat except for high frequency detail
