Nice work, I wouldn't be concerned about the cloth wraps with sharpness, it would help the bakes imo. I would, however, make the cloth a bit worn out/torn though.
Nice start. Agree with JamesBrisnehan. The size and intensity of your cloth wrinkles suggest thicker material than we are used to seeing on these clothing types. Also the rib cage looks a little deflated from the side view.
Still fixing proportions, its difficult with such baggy/large clothing to know what looks right. Tried to push the forms more in the clothing folds but the trousers are looking a little velvety at the moment. As always feedback is much appreciated.
The cloth on the gun mantlet still looks weird, I would suggest to sculpt it or ditch it and go with the version without the cloth. Dont forget to add all the small bolts and rivets to your high poly! Keep it up :)
Couple nice vids showing off the new havok cloth and destruction. Cloth: http://gamevideos.com/video/id/17589 Deformations: http://gamevideos.com/video/id/17664 Destruction: http://gamevideos.com/video/id/17668
overall composition looks good, clothing needs some work, the belt for one looks loose and the clothing looks a little too smooth, could use some more wear and tear than just a few patches
I'll get the beard on there soon as possible, really not sure how to do the beard I might use alphas or just sculpt it. as far the clothing I'm waiting to finish the body completely before I model the clothing.
Another update on the body. Now she has clothes too! Improved the likeness after a round of feedback. Trying to get her profile view right before focusing on detailing the clothes next.
I started Blocking out the clothing. I need to work on the Back pack and should cloth/armor. I also added braided hair but I have mixed feelings about it. Update:
@suspectlogic Marvelous clothing you have there! I'm curious, how did you insert the belt geometry after building the cloth without it going all haywire when you simulate? cheers
