the bit with modo letting you select 2 things and fill the pattern in is part of maya's bonus tools. Its called select every nth component -

The mask reminds me a bit of the 17th century plague masks worn by doctors working with bubonic plague victims: The masks also included glass goggles. -

Sage, if you don't draw anything you're not good at, how will you get better? If you can't draw 3/4ths, isn't that cause to practice? -
