hey hjs, i will be there so we see us again ... Did you have a new presentation of a projekt? I specially wanna go to the masterclass form allen mckay, i'm actualy on his VFX workshop and like to meet him real ... best regards sali
Hi Jason, good start blocking the shape out, it's the same process I use. If you like, I posted in Workshop #4 general thread (post 3) a couple of high resolution side views of the chassis and full rifle, they should be better for reference. Keep up!
Hi all, I added animated gifs to my dragon knight set: http://steamcommunity.com/workshop/f.../?id=187430383 Also, here's a tusk set I haven't made public yet, I'm still waiting on the last bit from the concept artist (Rayph)
Ok so just to tie this all together the robot i have posted here is part of a larger scene and instead of making a new thread i will just post my progress here! Here is the Work table that will be going in the Steam punk workshop I am making.
I've not seen a website like that. I'd definitely visit it if you made one. Style guides are comparatively rare from my experience, being mainly used as an internal document. Though I've been seeing more recently as all this steamy player workshop business is afoot.
You seem to be over-thinking it and over-valuing Workshop votes. Just make cool items and post screenshots which accurately depict them. If you want a place to start, I personally just picked my favourite hero and tried to make him look cooler.
So is it like a workshop kinda thing for rust, paid job or just good ol' modding going on here? That weird yellow suit would look totally bad ass if you cleaned up the connections the wrapped cloth, around the dome, does to the top part of the suit.
Small world, I remember seeing this in a workshop/demo at SCAD not too long ago, haha. I say you did a pretty great job though! Your lighting and attention to detail is especially impressive. Keep it up, I can't wait to see more work. :)
University term finishes around the 20th, then I go home to spend Christmas and New Year with the family and friends, then on the 6th of January I jet off to San Francisco for a week to attend the Massive Black/ConceptArt.org workshop! Then straight back to Uni with large amounts of jet lag...
Nice start :) Looks solid so far. THis is what this workshop is all about. Diferent ways of making the same thing. For example, i wouldnt have used cilinders with so many segments. i usually use 8. But when i start mine we will see :)
