Ok optimized the mesh a little more, took it down from 2005 tris to 1620 tris - that sufficient enough? Correct me if I'm wrong, so you're saying the wavy effect on the handle notches are supposed to be there then? I don't understand why it looks bad when it's applied to the model - I'll get an image up so you can see what…
I've got a lazier way. Just combined the two (what I assume are square) textures side by side into a new 2:1 texture. Offset the UV's of the model to the left texture by 1, scale all by 50%, move right by 0.5... done. Don't have to rebake anything, can still use source .psd's by textures... but only if your engine supports…
if you want a darker, moodier, scene try turning down the indirect lighting scale. to do this: 1) select the lights you want to bounce less 2) go to the lightmass tab in the light tab 3) set the indirect lighting scale to be something less than 1 - 0.5 or 0.25 Don't know what's causing the light seam but it looks like it…
Right click your "Height" output node and click "View in 3d" and then select the "height" channel. I believe by default its not enabled so even with a value plugged into the node you wont see anything until you do that. Also make sure you go to "Materials" and then "Edit" on the top toolbar and set your "Scale" to 0.5 to…

Cars never really meant much to me until I started to actually drive last January. I bought a 2005 Hyundai Accent GLS and have been loving it quite a bit. I'm by no means a gearhead and I have no desire to know how to tear down and rebuild an engine or replace my break pads. But I do love driving and the speed that comes…
I've always used mech pencils with heavy lead. I've taken to the 0.7 and 0.9 over the years for loose sketching and I rarely do any kind of detailed drawing so I rarely use 0.5. Straight up, it really doesn't make a difference, for the most part. I draw on typing paper when it's near, and I draw with whats in arms reach.
Sjet - ha! I actually started it as a Connery portrait from the 007 string in gd, looks nothing like Sean though. Yo Poop thx I am trying to learn more about color and some of the portrait painters at open canvas.com Grind thanx mate I will check into those ideas. I was attempting to study the light fall on this guy as…
in class it was discussed to avoid that type of stuff the camera would need a somesort of green light system adjustable to make it a neutral color , i tested it with a digital camera but im afraid it costs something like 30 000 euro. ill try to get more on this matter incase you are interested to avoid it using home made…
