wow those last screen updates are a wicked improvement. I did a quicky paintover to show some suggestions that you could incorporate in the final tweaks, just some ideas that popped into my head at 1st glance.
How to fix. 1st thing, Reset Xform and Collapse your modifier stack. This cleans up a lot of issues. 2) Turn on Backface Culling in the Object Properties. This will help you avoid doubling up faces inadvertently.

A)the hair and head are snapping to the 1st keyframe positions when the animation is finished. (it should be flow back smoothly) B) you may want to delay the secondary motion (the hair a bit) It feels too close to the jump animation
