Hey everyone, nice to meet you all! First post on the forum here. I’ve been wanting to dive into one of these challenges for a while
now. I wanted to make a sci-fi environment piece for my portfolio, so this
month's hard surface environment theme, "Work and Live There" by Marius Villard, was
a perfect fit. Concept gave me…
Glad to hear you like zombies Rayph... It is def the biggest one to date and it really is amazing how much we fit on one disk... It is def not an easy feat to reach.
def need some work on that diffuse, and spec, also add an AO, and I agree with Danshewan, the high poly could use more detail. but it def has a sweet shape.
I don't really get it :X This makes it look like you're trying to create a professionnal dev community. But the reward is mentorship with dev, which sound like a contest for students.
The first dissappointment I hear is the game is significantly SHORTER than RE4, and considering how the devs said it would be even LONGER in their dev diary vids...this makes me hesitate.
It's fair to assume that PC is a good dev platform to target both, with no change in assets (apart from hud etc). Thats what most devs seem to be doing that I know.
i wish the epic devs were still active on their forums there. anybody who worked on fortnite would probably be able to give a good answer since that sounds closer to what you are doing. recently one of the community staff mentioned at least that they were considering getting some devs more involved with the forums because…
either friday or saturday, just the regular show, dev part is too expensive even for students imo btw the consumer show (gc) is 23-26, only the dev one (gcdc) is from 20-22
I believe it's because the IBM chips are closely based on the G5 chip. So to get dev kits out asap they basically altered a G5. The full blown dev kits should be shipping this summer something though.
MP: It's not them. Just 'Del'. 'Deltron' was a persona created for the Deltron 3030 album, which is written as if he's writing from Mars - where he lives. Del is a singer for Gorillaz and cousins of, I think, Ice Cube.
