That all depends on the nature of the game. You can easily create puzzle games and other, simple, retro style games in a couple months. sure, not a 'profound' AAA title experience, but those are still games.

No its not. Blueprints are wrong and outdated. They are designs and never look like the finished car. Trust me we modeled hundreds of AAA vehicles. You can start with blueprints but after a view hours switch to fotos.
I think you would get more out of this if instead of just making an HD version of the original art, you actually updated it, brought it into modern day, made it look like a current AAA game.
