I don't believe so, but then, I haven't even touched the MP in Forza 2 yet. To be honest, I was kinda hoping to see about setting up some races against you guys sometime in the future, I'd really like to see how MP stacks up against SP (and namely, I'd like to see you hokeys driving like crazy ).
speaking of this...I remember that polycountville thing, and I was thinking, what about something that will be put ingame or something, I dunno if there's an easy way to put models with specs mentionned by Ely in rts or mmolike sp games (I bet it's legally impossible in mmo for obvious reasons) EDIT : w00ps double…
to me the over use of the force in this seams to detract from the star wars theme rather than add to it, the best films of the series used force minamily (SP) this turns it into a huge overbearing force that makes weilding a cool glowing sword seam a bit cack im still waiting for the definative saber weilding game, this…
I was testing it out today. Eric is right there is no need for Vray, it's just adding an extra step. Its best to just export packed textures form SP and remake the material in Unreal (It's not a long process). I don't think I could lose datasmith from the pipeline, don't use it for passing material, but it is amazing for…
The architecture community doesn't seem as generous as the game art community where everything is free and info is plentiful... there's no wiki for architectural design like there is for game art(strange considering architecture has been a thing since the dawn of time) but there's this paid course which I hear is nice.…
Continuing to work on the wood damage. Also reworked the wood values as I wasn't happy with it. Going to call it finished as you just have to at some stage or you'll be infinitely tweaking. :) Substance Painter worked out great for the damage. Saves an extra step in Zbrush and saves sculpting details that the normal map…
I don't know why SP is crashing when I try to up res..it's like trying to compute all layers strokes at once..? If I turn off all the layers visibility, then up res the doc, and then turn on layers 1 by 1 and give the program time to compute each layer it's working. Too bad I lost the work on that piece and now I've gotta…
I've tried with one object only so it will be easier for me to test it, still same results... 1) This is how UV Map looks inside the Blender https://gyazo.com/ece690f20185887c18b1face3356b5b7 2) This is how UV Map looks inside SP, there are artifacts even before I bake the object ( every edge seems to be hard )…
you can always sculpt and overlay details from photo sourced normals, ben mathias (sp?) from poopinmymouth.com has a good tut on deepening normal maps, thats a good one to check out, theres so many options available today with stuff like NDO2, sculpting is not the only way to get Normal map detail but I think its for sure…
I'm tempted to pick up ARMA III, but I'd like to find a crew to play MP with. I'd love to hook up with Shack Tactical, but I just don't have the time to dedicate to it like their players do. The MP for ARMA II is neat, but I stopped playing the SP as soon as the story had me "commanding" an AI squad that was a few IQ…
