"In the grim darkness of the far future there is only war" At the beginning there was only an innocent curiosity. Bit by bit the lore drew me deeper in this dark and hostile world of 40k. It consumed me. Filled my mind with twisted and oddly beautiful images. This experience seeded a spark in me to craft my own version of…
Saw this on Gamespot today: http://www.gamespot.com/features/6152217/index.html Although the clock speeds are a little slower than the 7900's, the performance is almost identical, and with less power draw. Not badly priced, either. This single slot card is about $500-600. Compared to 2 7900 cards, that's nearly $400 in…
What a shame! Also it goes without saying that they've now alienated a portion if not all those new adherents too the 40k universe solely on the strength of Syama Pedersen's inspired effort which initially led to GW hiring him in the first place.
My vote is for Zbrush based on the free upgrade policy they've had so far. I purchased Zbrush 1 & Mudbox 1, I now have the latest version of Zbrush for no extra cost, it's about $400 to upgrade my copy of Mudbox.
Agree with Mario here. I live in Europe as well and 300-400€ is in the ballpark of what I charge. This allows for a decent life, not drugs and sports cars. No clue how you can survive doing freelance at 100-150$ a day Michael :open_mouth:
Wow doesn't seem to have as many, but garnishes the same amount of negative attention. Series such as Naruto attract such people but one piece doesn't. Star wars doesn't as much, but warhammer 40k doesn't have too much bad press. What's the deal?
hmm, strange... googlecode gives me a 403 when i try and download the viewer, no matter how i try and access it (direct link from here, link from the viewer's googlecode page, entering the url in the address bar). Any ideas?
yep i totally agree, i got it down to 1400 sumthin tris with those loops gone. although from some angles the smoothing looks that bit more rounded and nicer, but im not sure its worth the extra 400 tris. hmmm.
Reading around, some people claim that winning in super cars is effectively counting across all classes. I haven't checked in LSC with every class but I for sure have turbo for sports and muscle cars. It's like $40k a pop though, hah.
You will need to really apply yourself either way. If you are focused you will learn what you need to outside of school, if you're not, then you would just be wasting 40k anyway doing the bare minimum for grades (which equals a useless portfolio).
