There is a japanese 3D scene. Lots of them getting into 3D printing(for the figurines market), they mostly use Twitter though. I bought a couple japanese books about figure sculpting some time back and learned some nice tricks.
Hi ! I'm currently studying 2D and 3D art for video games so i thought I'd use this contest as a way to learn more about Zbrush and Sustance ! As well as how to create a proper game/figurine asset o/ Sketches to come in the following weeks !
I'd buy a little figurine of this guy! You're really teasing us with the face, but it's already looking strong without it! :) The shapes you have everywhere are begging for handpainting! Can't wait!
uhh yeah man that one looks like u just moved in yesterday... wheres all the crazy posters and figurines and shit? gameboxes? and u only got 1 monitor?
I was hoping some other parents would chime in. I have to agree. I'm starting to think other avenues, such as toy figurine design, would be a better fit right now since I wouldn't be a kink in a production chain with something like that.
Thank you! If he turns out alright I might look into getting him printed at work... However.. I'm terrible at painting figurines, so you'd be more than welcome to :)
SHAZBOT! You caught me ;) I posted what I did before I realized it was your thread, about the figurine... Lol. I thought it was about the game itself :P
The amount of spec and gloss kind of makes them look like toy figurines, I second the reply that the texture needs work as well, photosource some skin details if you have to.
