Thanks Guys for the help! I'll try to make my own concept based on the general idea. I was not sure if want to make a "dark nami", I really like the idea of make her half octopus. Thanks for the warning!
Here's an update on the female model so far. Had some tweaks overall, your overpaint was very helpful! Here's some screens from in blender Still need to do the octopus though :) We got more updates but will post them in a batch later on.
This octopus has been done for the Beneath the Waves Challenge on the ArtStation. The frau Boo The Tired character =) Alice The bishop has been done for the battle me vs. my husband <3 Finally Haley. I've done her for the Wild West Challenge on the ArtStation
you left out the webbing between the tentacles which i think are very cool...and the octopus is very stiff looking compared to the concept...but overall i think your version is pretty solid...looks like a more structured, manufactured version
Just getting this hp ceiling light done for a sci fi hydroponics lab it has about 4 points of movement not including rotation and the light pannels I suppose I could consider jointed if rigged lol, I loosely based it on an octopus and a machine arms lol
Day 07 on the support model. Set him in a pose. Going for the half throw with a couple of fish in the air and an octopus on the ground. Started finalizing the parts. Everything that is colored is finalized and fits together properly. Anatomy isn't very good, but for the parts hidden under clothes it doesn't matter.
Not bad, looks more like an octopus tentacle than a worm. Been playing Dead Space by any chance?! I think it's a bit rough on the back of the large part, if you want it more wormy I suggest smoothing most of that roughness out and creating some segementation.
In fact, I wanna get some tentacles like octopus' ones but with human flesh on it instead of the usual "suckers". I think the texturing part will be really important to get what I want. Thx for the crits btw ! I agree, it's a little bit too "messy"
I decided to have a go at pure non-ironic cute stuff. Heh heh, Gauss what have you started here?! Here's Olly the Octopus. Olly is really good on the coral-organ, playing his jazzy tunes for "Champ the Shark" and "Gurgle the goldfish".
Thanks for the feedback. I am going to look into Richard William'a spider animations from his survival guide and see if I can get down the leg offset. I have already tried the octopus a few times so once those are at a presentable stage ill post them.
