My issue is with the heads on both heros. I like the idea, but the heads or too literal of a reference to the inspiration as opposed to using the inspiration to work these fashion elements into the Dota style. I think you captured this perfectly with CM's shoulder/cape, but then the head just pulls me right out of Dota.
Amazing stuff, been following your progress for a while and have to agree with other you've made amazing progress and documented it well for the whole community to learn from. Hats off for that! Inspires me to try and work harder to finish my scene. All this stuff goes to my inspirational folder!
didn't exactly nail some of the surfaces and structure of it, but unless he was your instructor (he was mine) you wouldn't know. but hey, you said inspiration so i'll give you your due credit on a well executed model. glad to see some work inspired by scott here.

I would feel honoured if I made something that inspired someone else. But 'inspiration' implies the original being a springboard for a new creation rather than something to straight up copy and then make a few cosmetic changes to avoid trouble. the latter is a far less appealing prospect than the former
