Hey everyone, I'm following this tutorial - https://youtu.be/O-8ow82gQw8?t=197 (3:17 for this query) and I can't seem to get any collision from a mesh being attached as an influencer to the plane with the spectral waves generator attached. Making it as simple as possible, I have a 100x100 poly plane with spectral waves…
Take a look at mGear its a modular system and you can add features as many as you like. Its to complex to learn to crate such rigs. They use custom solver and a lot of python magic. mGear is free and super fast and easy to learn. If you dont try to become a rigger i wont try to learn it. It does take years to master like…
https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/2904948/Tutorials/fubar01.max The trick isn't to rig one system that can do everything. It's to layer objects on top of the rig that isolate single axes. I didn't use anything complex, just look at constraints and HI solvers. This example isn't perfect. If I had more time I could…
You'll want to have a fiddle around with the IK solver in max and just press a bunch of buttons... I managed to get you the inverse of what you need: the top folds first and then the lower ones fold. I'm not really a rigger/animator so I'm not much more help, I'm afraid. Maybe this is enough to get you looking in the right…
It's better to leave a slight bend in the limbs/appendages if you're rigging for IK, as it makes it easier on the solver. Your vert issue is just one of those funky Max viewport bugs. Hopefully someday we'll see a Nitrous viewport free of those.... It could also be a temporary bug in the scene which can usually be solved…
Thank you. I want artists have a look on my work just that and get the feedback. I am not an animator, I love to produce short animated movies or in other words love to direct. praise or critique is not what i want, is what others do based on my work and their opinions. About animations, yes it was a new experience using…
This system could be easily built with IK. It would even work well with the non-parallel motion your second image would need to have. Here's a quick example: Create a bone for your control (red). Create a seperate bone chain for the rest of the hinge (green) then create an IK solver from the base of the green chain to the…
I cant help you with this issue. But im wondering if you really need to work with the old muscle system in maya. In a lot of cases its easier and more appealing to work with a PSDeformer based on a RBF solver and blendshapes. It does drive multiple Bendshapes based on bone rotation. https://vimeo.com/256378129…
#55 Zombies are incredible problem solvers, but hide this skill after the death of the zombie known as Einstein(no relation to the human, he just liked the sound of it)who still holds the world record in solving the rebix cube the fastest despite his slow movements. #56 Zombie flesh was considered a powerful aphrodisiac…
Erm, pixel density is only relative to how the environment will be seen. Although for a portfolio piece I do believe it's good to show it as uniformly as possible. Just something to keep in mind for the future (Tulk). I like the last shot posted there, the lighting on the roof is nice. Now some contrasting light across the…
