Doing a re imagining of the hunter from half life 2 without the combine synth attachments. In the lore these were creatures that were captured by the combine and enslaved. I am imagining they took out the beak and put the weapon on and so on still messing with main forms. This is the creature form before the combine…
walklikethis: Hey sorry about not doing that, but its the same as this creature I did BEFORE As far as Design WIP here are some of the drawings and paint overs I did during the course of sculpting. Thanks guys I'll have to get an update posted soon! Lephenix: Dude the creature looks cool! Snader: Maybe this image will help…
Of course no one owns the idea on a green gum-drop shaped monster. It would be fine if Belias had used that as a source of inspiration or created his own creature like that from his imagination. It's the way that he asks "Is it okay if I just add teeth, remove the tie and remove one eye from that creature?" that's somewhat…
Hi there! Here is the stoneman creature I was making quite a long ago. My idea was to make a creature with a single diffuse texture. But now I understand that it is not totally awesome at all. The main prob is I do not have a good idea what is going wrong. Here is what I started with Modeling is good to my mind :) And here…
Could perhaps subtllely emphasize anatomical features of the skull? Hopefully without compromising your references stylistic aesthetic because I share Eric's sentiment, they're indeed beguiling creatures which from one brief encounter in the aussie bush, can most definitly attest too.

Creature speed sculpt and an attempt to pose it into a run pose. [vv]41607658[/vv] Since I havent really posed things a lot before - I tried to put a scene together of the speed sculpted creature. I tried to approach it like a gesture drawing, so the anatomy is a bit all over the place - loads to learn ;) [vv]41607659[/vv]
TitanQuest! OH man, I cant even find any of the stuff from the art dumps back then. Bobo: http://polycount.com/discussion/43503/titan-quest-creatures Modelling Man (Parnell) http://polycount.com/discussion/45392/titan-quest-creatures-monsters I think Ghost Rider (josh sigh), Killingpeople, and blankslatejoe were all there.
The hind legs propel the butt of the creature upward, rather than propelling the creature forward. This wastes a lot of energy, so wouldn't be a good way to run. It also looks to have too little airtime to give a sense of speed. Could you render a slow-mo version, like that dog-skeleton? That would make it easier to look…
Is there a concept that you are working off or references you are using? It would be useful to post them here as well. As Matt mentioned, muscle anatomy could use a fair bit of work. Currently the creature is very top heavy, I'm not sure how such a poor thing would be able to maintain it's balance! :) What does the…
