TexTools hasn't been updated since the author switched over to Blender. You might have better progress with learning the Autodesk toolset thoroughly. Then you can start looking into other tools to extend any functionality you find lacking.
Oh, so apparently I don't have the latest one. Strangely Autodesk Desktop App says there are no updates available, weird. Sorry for the misinformation!
or just any OS for that matter. Just get a hold of Mavericks... shows you that the idea of semi mandatory yearly releases is rubbish (or look to Autodesk)
I don't know the exact autodesk policy on the software, but >free< programs that are the most used in the industry, even if its only a year, are definitely worth it.
Same problem here : unusable... On the same hardware, works well with max2014, and erratic response with max 2016... Can Autodesk guy fix this, please ?
Don't worry about interest. It's a unique project idea. Get a solid engine running and then approach Autodesk with it. Max needs more life breathed into it.
