By the way, I changed the layout of my portfolio, I'm still trying to customize it so that it doesn't look like crap but I think this one works much better to showcase my stuff.
Hopeful about this! Could open up zbrush a lot to people who aren't willing to make the investment. I'm just not sure how they choose the 3D art they showcase on packages and things, though...
To defend the hammers, and use of them pretty certain they are just being used as it's an exercise in weighting and they are just arbitrary heavy objects that showcase Andrew's skill in hand keying animation with accurate weight and balance.
Why is this not in the showcase? I absolutely love the clothing, such an interesting mix of different textiles and they compliment each other so well. It's full of interesting detail. I can't wait to see the breakdown in VERTEX2.
I'm pretty sure this belongs in 3D Art Showcase and not actually General Discussion, unless the intent is to talk about the situation and not the art but whatever ^^ Dunno why general discussion automatically turns into a shitshow
This is looking much better the detail in your textures is awesome. One question though, why are the lanterns lit during the day? You can create a separate night scene to showcase it better imo.
Awesome work, some minor nitpicking here and there that have been covered in the previous comments, but besides that, this wonderful stuff! edit: I think this needs to be archived and moved to the polycount showcase allong with a banner
Hey, this looks very cool! Do you plan on releasing the showroom itself, or putting it for sale? I'd be interested in having a cool looking plug and play scene to showcase my models inside of UE4.
I would remove the filtering, I dont think that it really adds anything presentation wise. I would also make sure that only your best pieces are being showcased. Hope this helps
yea Pointer thats what i was thinking too. really its not meant for a high poly showcase so its not that big of deal, i thought i might just dable with mudbox for once :)
