The next question was, "What is the common prop in the mining city?" Kyoungche Kim had crane idea, I had mining cart idea. Also, the dwarf needed the lanterns to reveal the darkness in the underground. Kyoungche did wonderful idea sketch. Creating modular building assets would save lots of time and maximize our creative. I…
If modo price would go near Cinema 4D, it would close to Maya/Max. I can hardly see people paying such price, for not-so-standard 3d package, no matter how awsome it is. Power of habits. They don't. I don't see any good reason to support DirectX at this point, if you never done it before or if you start from scratch. If…
Hi Folks, MightyBake version 1.3.9 has just been released. You can download it from www.mightybake.com/demo. Just a quick note, this version requires you to respecify some of your presets options. I have made dramatic improvements to the preset system, but it's not backwards compatible. You will only have to do this once.…
[ QUOTE ] I'm assuming at this point the reason is that I'm running Maya 5 and these files will only work with Maya 6 (full version or PLE). [/ QUOTE ] Can't use PLE, has to be full version of Maya. What version of max are you running and what version is the file? It sounds like you're using an old version of max(2010 or lower) to open a newer file(2011) did the DVD also include other file formats like FBX or OBJ?
I've got the PS2 version because I haven't seen the GC version anywhere but yes, it's nice. I'd prefer if throwing cars had more of an effect at what you hit but overall the game is leagues better than the arcade versions that are included.
This is the compression I'm seeing. When you upload a new avatar, it shows you it at ~256px and then a smaller version as well. The bigger one has very clear compression. Here's the version saved out from photoshop next to the compressed version.
Yeah, sorry about that. It's really complicated to make something like trial version inside PS. I was thinking of making a demo-version: with limitations on document size and flattening the document afterwards, maybe I'll make it after the CS6 version
