Interesting, I didn't think of this while creating camera angles. My goal was to show the detail on the soles of the spidey suit. Seems a bit weird but to each his own. I did not intend to showcase the kid's crotch. Thanks for the feedback, hopefully the game can me modded on PC. My nephew would lose it. Not sure who to…
Man, I was thinking exactly the same when I looked at that WB level. Imagine the fun! This is gaining the attention from everyone, lol. Even the stadium guys are trying to contact him: http://www.sonicstadium.org/blog/2010/08/25/new-2-5d-sonic-project-showcases-mushroom-hill-zone/
Been a while since I updated you all with my Black Flag Inspired scene so here are a couple of screen shots to showcase whats I've been doing. main changes are to do with lighting and adjusting props and textures as well as other polish work. Any feedback would be much appreciated
I actually like Toby as Spiderman. He showcases the goofy nerdy side of Spiderman, but he still can get convincingly pissed. I also think they chose the perfect actors for Norman and Harry. MJ... maybe not so much, she seemed cancerous and whiny in the second one, but its not too bad.
If you have access to the pro version then you can use light-probs in combination with lightmaps. The light-probs will act upon all non static elements with good effect. Quick tutorial that showcase this. [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wN15ui0VRlc"]Unity Tutorial: Beast and Light Probes - YouTube[/ame]
Re-textured the dessert splashes and the pinatas. I wanted to showcase the splashes, but didn't want to leave out any of the textures from the asset pack that I was given, for the freelance gig, so I completely painted over them. The models that were being thrown, at the very beginning, are still from the asset pack.
Interesting, thanks for the feedback! You may be right, I'll have to check out my game on a few other monitors as well. Here's a little murder-storyboard to showcase the grass I worked 2 days on to get right. It was surprisingly technically challenging, but I'm really happy with how it turned out Thoughts?
Last year whilst working partime freelance, I'd snared a couple of paid jobs by 'word of mouth' since I don't have an online art showcase for perusal and as too portfolio presentation, either research the wiki or browse this thread highlighting artists who've gained employment via their respective folio of work.
That looks awesome! As you said, now you just need to showcase everything you spent time working on. I'd suggest you start by taking a look at these close-up shots from a manufacturer's site and try to replicate them: https://www.jerrysfirearms.com/ny-ca-delta-daniel-defense-mk18-other
Hey! Anthony from Unity Connect. You can most definitely submit projects that have been used before! No need to be original. Our goal is to make the contest have the lowest barrier of entry to submit so that you can showcase your portfolio the fullest. That's an error in the legal print that we will remove.
