Hi everybody! This year Drysocket and I are hosting a Furtive Frostus gift art exchange event (Secret Santa). Basically, you just fill out a form telling us what kind of picture you'd like to receive, and email it to us by Monday, 16 Dec. We'll match up all the requests with other participants in secret, and in a few days…
Not necessarily. The catch here is that when looking at these devices (big Cintiqs, this MS panel, and so on) we assume that it is indeed possible to work comfortably at a distance similar to what is shown in this picture above. But the fact is, Wacom tech is order of magnitude less precise than a physical pencil - because…
I drew these two the night before last, the one eye picture is way too blurry, i want to retake the picture and draw on it. I made these trees real quick today and put them into Unity. They look like shit.
You've written a lot of text. Unless you're planning to become a writer (in which case, hay, more power to you), we need photographic or scanned evidence of some sort that you've attempted to create some art. If you don't draw a lot AND do a lot of thinking about what did and didn't work in your drawings, you aren't giving…
the only way to fix the problem is to draw more seriously, if you want to improve, and this might sound corny, but take a sketch book around with you and draw draw draw. once you're comfortable with drawing peoples faces it might be time to come back to your wacom, scan in a few sketches and mess about with them in…
I don't have ZBrush :( As far as references go, I drew a side-view of the sword to start out with. I compared my concept drawing to the currently-added weapons for the Naga that made it through the workshop, and I felt like it nailed the style.
[ QUOTE ] cool ferret, but didnt someone else draw the racoon toaster guy? [/ QUOTE ] nope, that would be me. Apparently the evening after sketchclub there was a raccoon toaster on futurama. I did not see the episode, and I drew mine before it came on.
I have a Tool composed of multiple subtools and want to render a BPR with a few different angles. I can draw out the Tool and make the shots I want but once I hit the BPR render it only renders out the last drawn tool....any thoughts?
Hey! Do you keep a physical sketchbook? Digital tools are great, but I think it's good to be able to draw and think analog, where you have to think before you draw because you don't have ctrl+z watchin' your back. Just like Sauron's One Ring, stuff like Photoshop and Zbrush can be capable of amazing things. But they…
I started with a A6 graphire. The size was never a problem for me because my drawing style uses short strokes. I did have problems with getting perfectly straight lines in photoshop. Or when drawing curves, they would come out as some 10 sided shape instead of a smooth curve. This had more to do with the tablets resolution…
