the only way to fix the problem is to draw more seriously, if you want to improve, and this might sound corny, but take a sketch book around with you and draw draw draw. once you're comfortable with drawing peoples faces it might be time to come back to your wacom, scan in a few sketches and mess about with them in… -

I don't have ZBrush :( As far as references go, I drew a side-view of the sword to start out with. I compared my concept drawing to the currently-added weapons for the Naga that made it through the workshop, and I felt like it nailed the style. -

Quick BPR Zbrush question
I have a Tool composed of multiple subtools and want to render a BPR with a few different angles. I can draw out the Tool and make the shots I want but once I hit the BPR render it only renders out the last drawn tool....any thoughts? -

Hey! Do you keep a physical sketchbook? Digital tools are great, but I think it's good to be able to draw and think analog, where you have to think before you draw because you don't have ctrl+z watchin' your back. I started with a A6 graphire. The size was never a problem for me because my drawing style uses short strokes. I did have problems with getting perfectly straight lines in photoshop. Or when drawing curves, they would come out as some 10 sided shape instead of a smooth curve. This had more to do with the tablets resolution…
