Ah okay cool! Very awesome topo. Good placement on the cheek stars. Don't mind me being nosey but were you going for a high poly retopo in this case? Just seems like a lot of topography going on. Nice, good luck there! I'm currently in the DAVE school in FL
Alright, so I'm using this tutorial: [ame] http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Fm-STdbAdLw[/ame] The results were gorgeous, but I want the metal to be yellow. How can I do that? Changing the diffuse color doesn't do anything, it only diminishes the strength of the reflections. Any ideas?
Carmack deserves all the praise and then some for what he has done for our industry, and the man can kick some butt...noted in this episode from the Jace Hall show:P http://crackle.com/c/Jace_Hall#id=2366278&ml=o%3D12%26fpl%3D297045%26fx%3D Spark

Speaking of a metric fuckload (fL) of materials assigned in Max, my new magic trick when this causes a decrease in frames per second is exporting the entire thing to a 3DS and reimporting it in to max and gaining 20+ FPS. It's fucked that it works, but it works and I won't argue with it. Sorta like the magic-box trick in…
On second thought: (whois website) Organization: Jack Thompson Jack Thompson 1172 S. Dixie Hwy., Suite 111 Coral Gables, FL 33146 US Phone: 305-666-4366 Email: jackthompson@attbi.com Still very well could be faked information by someone. Highly illegal, but even so.
I was reading around about this tech today, and it looks like they will be guided as well as able to be fired over mountains. At the maximum range (250-some miles), they'd reach an apogee of 95 miles up. That'll make it over pretty much anything http://fredericksburg.com/News/FLS/2007/012007/01172007/251373
