The wing looks paper thin. Even if you say its sci-fi magic, look at the rudder in comparison. Its about ~4 times as thick. Fatten them up a bit with a taper towards the wing tip. And give it a taper front to back. Check out real wing ribs. This will plant the design and make it seem more grounded and functional. :)
Good point, I like the look of larger wings! I was thinking about doing dragon wings on her and making her some kind of targaryen winged soldier, but I wasn't sure if that's cliche. Also I really want to change the sword, I'm not a huge fan of how it looks at the moment, and it is way too big. Thanks CJE!
Hahaha nice one kdr. I accualy go to hooters for the wings... is that wrong? D: Every time I brought my ex-girlfriend in with me she always ended up talking to the waitresses and learning their life stories... therefor killing the entire experiance for me. But the wings still kick ass. Do they have these wings on the…
Definitely going to need two tables. One for everyone to crowd around, and one for all Andy's chickens. ZING! So roughly 13 so far, maybe more. Lee's been conspicuous by his absence - I reckon he's sulking that we didn't arrange the meeting to coincide with his birthday. :)
cool, thanks Eric . Now I need to find my ancient world machine license . Is it something new and fresh or been there all the time? I recall some river tool there but don't remember it could do braids . found one more cool picture : ps A best way to do it is probably a long bendy sobol brush over a polished , oil smeared…
The wings look nice with the layered feathers, and your friend's face feels pretty tightly done (clean lines and highlighting). If you're looking to take the piece further you might want to think about pushing the separation between the interior side of the wings in the back, and the front facing part of the wings to the…

Love the work awesome as always, brain is just spa-zing out by the year date labeled as 2012. [insert Jackie Chang img here] Think you should have quaded out the ends of the sphere on the lens/scope its really noticeable up-close like that. :) still looking forward to viewing that transformer when it is all done.
The metalic areas could benefit from more depth in them on Bionica. Especially the Spinal Area. The interface between flesh and cyberstuff seems a bit flat. The organic area is very well done, more specularity and a "harder look" to the metal parts would give it a lot mroe zing and reduce the flatness though. No comments…
Glad to be of a bit of help :) Just so we're clear Maya and ZBrush are two very different beasts. Maya is a complete 3D package, meaning that you can do Modelling, Animation, Effects and if i recall correctly, also a bit of sculpting. ZBrush on the other hand is a dedicated Sculpting and 3D painting application. Wings is…
