Hello poly counters , I have Zbrush 4R7 SP3 on my PC , when i transfer a Ztool or a Zproject to the computer at work ( it has 4R7 , without the SP ) it says and i quote " this file has been created by a newer zbrush version " . - So how can i save a .ZTL or a .ZPR for earlier releases of zbrush .
Thanks for your input guys. I was under the impression 2017 introduced lots of annoying bugs that SPs never fixed/made worse, thus my desire not to upgrade. It's too bad there's not any file I can delete or something to magically make things faster, but I guess that's to be expected.
The first time you load the materials, SP generates the thumbnails dynamically, that's what takes a lot of time if you have many materials. Subsequent loads should be really fast, no matter how many assets you have since we only load the assets that are visible in the shelf window.
At work I have 32gb, at home 24gb. If you're regularly running zbrush, Maya, UE4, and SP at the same time I would highly recommend getting more than 16gb. All of those programs use up a decent amount of memory especially if you're working with large files.
hey guys thanks for the kind words. @KingKellogg : I used susbtance painter skin material as a base, then it's a bit of a mix between some photos and actual painting. Though it used to be a real pain for projection since SP didn't support non squared pictures. Here are the final shot for the angel.
In 3ds max and slightly sculpted in zbrush. Too slightly. I was thinking about small cracks, not about overall aging. And the texture was almost basic material from SP. The best advice I would give to myself is to be bolder with sculpting and texturing. But I still don't consider myself as a pro.
ok so i got color id into sp but its way to blurry and pixelated . why ? i baked it on 2k and its still blurry , other maps are coming out good . here some images also i am still getting little bit bad projections like this
I'm assuming you haven't tried co op... it's a LOT harder than SP relying on people, but it's still a hella lot of fun. takes more thinking honestly. not everyone can traverse super easily (poor wizard) can't wait for the online patch. buying the full now methinks.
Thanks guys =D glade ya like! yup, OG jason was all deformed and shit. I always thought that was silly. Just a crazed normal joe was always a more frightening thought to me (as a kid) b/c anyone could be him! Kinda like Michael myers (sp).
Alright, after a round of low poly retopology and trying to save a corrupted SP file, here's where we are now with this fella. I'd like to have comments about anything that comes to mind regarding finishing touches, does something bother your eye? Anything you want to add/adjust/remove?
