Rats, I would have liked to meet up but I'm in FL this week visiting family and attending a wedding. I won't be back till Monday :( Have fun during your visit!
ok if thats the case ill give it another go, last fm, just seamed so much better for my taste in music, although ive heard that the other way round too
Well, once you're about an hour or so north of Orlando, FL it starts getting all barren and movie-like, Jeepers Creepers was filmed around here and most people think they filmed it in the midwest.
I have a Sound Blaster Live! 5.1, and it is good 'nuff for me. The only games i've had that hated it is most of the DOS games (since it's a PCI soundcard and not an ISA, with horrible FM OPL2/3 emulation.)
Also, the Soundtrack... oh man, the Soundtrack. Every song seems to fit so perfectly to whatever I'm doing at that given time. http://sleepingdogs.wikia.com/wiki/Soundtrack Anything from Daptones Radio or Real FM.
I listen to nearly everyone mentioned. 1Up FM is the new podcast on the site to replace the EGM podcast, and it seems to be off to a good start although very dry. I also recommend the Totally Rad Show.
Fruity loops is faily easy to use, but If your going to learn a DAW I always say people should look at Ableton Live. I switched from FL a couple years back and havent looked back
