I don't like that PA is top vote right now. She has 140 submissions on the workshop, the community hasn't really overlooked her, Valve has. :/ Dark Seer and Veno are pretty overlooked though, so that's good, but I would much rather make something for PA just because I <3 her...

@felipefrango if the render engine supports it, you can have a lot of per-vertex attributes encoding whatever you want. Hardware typically supports 16 x 128 bit per vertex (you can add even more through custom buffer fetching in shader), but of course it costs more time to fetch more data...

What I was poorly trying to say was that it's great to see the progression in a thread. I like cgchat where you create a thread for your entry and post the progression. Either way is fine by me. So right now it's a bust, 1500 polys, 1 512 for skin, 1 128 for eyes/hair, and a normal map if needed?
ooooh, sexay! It was great working with ya Adam, and we're all damn happy that you got a fulltime gig now. Oogh - yes it's being ported to PSP. Most of the enviornment textures were reduced to 1/2 - 1/4 their original size (most are 64x64, with a few 128's). PSP screenies are located here

Hard Mode 1024x768 playfield & resolution 1.48+ million 27+ minutes Hard mode used to be piss easy in older versions (almost got 8 million then, using keyboard only) but now it's just insane. This is the first time I broke 1 million. Key movement + Mouse aim with low sensitivity is working the best for me.
okay, i see what you mean now. there are deffinetly some big open areas. once i get the +14k tri count down i will add some detail to the structures on either side of the stairs and some other places. also if i fix the geometry i shouldn't have much trouble unwrapping it.
