Hi everyone! Thank you for reading and supporting this thread so far. We’ve started a new group thread for SHIFT where all team members will be posting updates. I’ll continue my progress there, please check it out here: https://polycount.com/discussion/238223/wip-shift-final-year-game-cinematic-trailer-project Appreciate…
The position is closed now. Thanks, everyone! :) We're a small team based in Seattle, WA developing a turn-based strategy game called Phantom Brigade. www.tetragonworks.com Our game revolves around walking tanks (in other word, mechs). There are no shortcuts to getting those machines moving with appropriate weight and…
Thanks! The books were the most satisfying part for me as the whole thing felt off before I got them in the scene. It's only 5 different models, each with a unique set of details on the texture sheet. The heavy lifting is really being done by the master material I made in UE5 that's giving color and wear variety based on…
Hello @Noren ! Sorry for the late reply! I was quite overwhelmed with the tasks at hand so I left Polycount for a bit to settle them first! Wester: Thanks for the kind words man, I will def. dirty up the crates more. frubes: Yeah I totally agree with you, infact thats pretty much what I learned from Marshalls composition workshop. @sacboi Thanks! I'm developing the tanks into more of an overall brand. If you're interested, check out the development on https://www.instagram.com/fantastictanks/ I never worked on tanks, but built blackhawks in another life. Would love to pick your brain on the topic of tanks. Here are the paintings from tonight's Wed…
Hey all together, I just got to check this post again. Thank you all very much for your feedback and knowledge. Indeed its really by far not the best mesh to work with further (it shows also i still have to learn much about character retopology, reflecting the last days until now...). I have to try and fix the mask then…
@zetheros, thanks! You were right: forearms were reeeeally long (relative to upper arms) for some reason. I suspect I messed up when focused on fixing wrist joint... Guess I still need to properly re-work arm shapes - they seem too narrow, too crooked, too weird... and twist bones easily break them :#
