I am pretty sure you can get a student version of 3ds max for free if you go here, http://students.autodesk.com/ and then go to the free software, download, done. Remember you have to be either a student or an instructor. -

Also, I don't know how possible it is for you but Wacom often offer large discounts for students so if you are a student, or know one who could help you out, you'll be able to save a substantial amount. -

Yeah, this one sorta snuck up one me. I intend on getting it. I mean, as long as I can get the student discount. Hopefully they deem a student majoring in sculpture worthy of a nice discount, haha. -

I would say, if you think its easy then its not the industry for you. I would also argue most game developers dont do it for massive paychecks or stress free environment, but rather because its where their passion is. Depending on where you work, the turn over can be considered common. Its not exactly the most secure… -

Well, we now know this is an internship which traditionaly have been unpaid. Typically it's a student working part time, most places require you to be a student to be an intern. An internship isnt a job, it's a class you don't pay for. -

Re: ZBrush 2018: An actual feature-filled update
Has there been any updates on how they handle student licences? It is currently a bit annoying having to shell out £402.00 for a student licence currently. That and you have to go through a third party retailer to get it, as they do not offer it through their website.
