Canadian here. They engage Foreign senior not junior, they already have enough (not to say TOO much) student here to fill the junior spot. they don't need foreign to steal job that our student need. -

if he's a student or has a student email he can download maya from students.autodesk.com for free, also i think there may be a trial of like 30 days available for him to download, not sure though -

Nice work but it still looks kinda of student-ish. Push everything more to a professional level. That girl characters's eyes looked lifeless. I'm a student myself so I see similar stuff in my class. -

Yup I'd do this, but I think Maya is free for student right ? zBrush is really a must-have, same for Photoshop. For Quixel or Painter, it's just a taste choice but I think Painter is free for student too. gl, -

It may be a free event, and it may be their call to move it, but a lot of entrants won't have time during October, especially students and especially those students who's field of study has nothing to do with art. (yeah, that's me :( ) -

The majority of students are lazy people who actually just want to play video games all day long. Or be "idea guys" instead of making art. At least that was how a lot of students at my school were. -
