Its getting there. But some areas of your texture are very bland and have little interest in them, if you don't mind my paintover :) I think you could definitely push the texture a bit more, and pull out some more little details in certain areas. It looks good, but could be pushed further. Great model and bake nonetheless!
It looks really good! :) The concept you have choose has pushed more vibrant colors. If you want your scene to look like that image you should push the colors more. Do a backup of your file and do a extremely vibrant version and then start going down. But I think your current scene is looking good also :)
I've pushed the cracks and details more to what I've been trying to do with some help from a friend who's been critiquing my pieces and detailing what needs to be done to push it more. I am going to do a 3rd pass on this, to add some more surface detail to it, so it's not all flat color. Uploaded with ImageShack.us
yea, i think the form of the model is great but the texture isn't pushing it.. in fact it's actually flattenning it, like sectaurs pointed out. those eyes are sitting pure in those sockets but the rendering doesn't support the structure. it's like it's there.. but it's not there. so like he said ^^ push the form with the…
Much better. If you want a quick and dirty way to post a wireframe, set up your viewport or viewports to show wireframes, push the "print screen" button on your keyboard, next to backspace, and then in any image editing program push ctrl-v or paste. Sometimes I like the way a screengrab looks better than a render anyway.
[ QUOTE ] #1918 - The animated shaders you see in the viewport window will look absolutely, positively nothing like animated shaders you get at render. [/ QUOTE ] Ha! #042: You see that big key at the bottom of your keyboard? The very long one that just begs and demands to be pushed? Don't push that. It won't do what you…
You simply push them out, you cannot really 'weld' them but you can totally snap them perfectly. As a matter of fact I have never seen a 3d app showing a visual representation of them 'looping' on the other side but if you do push them accross they will, even if not shown. Let us know how it goes!
Hiii, this time I continue with my project, all the plants where finally change, the road was fix and the bushes (a lot of bushes) where place in the scene, I am so happy as finally modifying that and with the road the image breaths so much more and the composition is way better. I also have been modifying my values, I…
Hello this is a pair of headphones I own I am working on and I wanted to get a crit and how to push these further. This is my refrance http://images.guitarcenter.com/products/optionLarge/AudioTechnica/DV016_Jpg_Large_1344871116581_A.jpg and I want to try to push my modeling closer to a artist like this…
Thanks! I've dialed the saturation in a bit on the roofing and walls, doing this also emphasised how much the foliage sticks out - I might tone down the values and colours there to help balance things out. Thanks for the reply! I agree with you there, the floor isn't reading quite how I want it to yet. I recently tried…
