Well that's just the thing, normal maps don't contain depth information so I don't think they've be able to provide any useful information towards creating an accurate displacement map.
This is an issue with Photoshop itself, not NDO specifically. The shape slowdown is only fixed by deleting preferences via the containing folder for those preferences. I regularly delete my preferences because of this issue, unfortunately.
Typically one would only find my website through my resume to begin with from a job application. That said, I've added an Info gadget to the site which contains those things.
make sure the names of the materials are identical too - mat_skin00, mat_skin01 etc. if you try and call them names that also contain numbers or _ characters then have _skin00 after it can get confused.

Yozora, yes, and in doing that it automatically creates a hidden Multi/Sub material containing instances of the materials applied. You have to use "Get Material" in the material browser to find it. So commander_keen is right :)
