You can import OBJ files and use it as a viewer if you want. As long as the mesh has less than 65 thousand verts (OpenGL es limit for models). But the editing features are there: terrain generator, extrusion tools, etc.
Scooby, yes I did it. For autodesk to answer my question it'd cost $65 USD. I also checked their site and got nothing. Eric/Xeno: The only 3rd party ANYTHING that I have installed is Texporter.

"Battery life64.4 Wh Power ConsumptionMax. power consumption: 65 W, 0.3 W when asleep, 0.1 W or less when off" if its 64.4Wh and the thing eats 65W per hour thats roughly 59 minutes, yay
I don't know - I do feel somewhat cheated when I put down £60-65 ($100) for a game to have it only last me for about three hours, and I'm still not overly keen when it's as little as five.
65-80USD is quite a bit for a modifier, though not an odd occurrence for people to purchase something like this. Would definitely feel much more inclined to purchase if someone lent you a high poly model to showcase, like you said. Will lurk. :)
