Hello I was wondering if you know any tutorial on how to make a cave and illuminate its inside to make a baking over the textures to then export to a game .... any ideas?

Naima, I suppose the problem is that I don't actually understand what you're asking?

Are you asking how to bake lighting into a cave? It would be baked the same way as anything else. If you're asking how to make sure it's illuminated, put lights inside before you bake.

Sorry ,may be I expressed badly , what I was asking is , I made a cave , actually a big roundy huge dome like area , with a entrance on a side and a hole on the top , my idea was to make the ground of the cave , sligthly moved , rough with a big area central fillwed with water , water that flows from the top in parts along some roots coming from the hole , then I wanted to add stalactites and stalagmites and some different height rock platforms around that small lake , I dunno tough how to illuminate, what kind of lights would be adapt , I wanted to add also a reflection on walls like caustics but apart this that I already know how to make I not sure of what kind of lights from max to use , like direct illumination ? area spots? skylight? and where should I place? I also wanted to make a srot or ray of light coming from the top hole down to the lake ....

The best way to go at it is to just post what you have so far. Just as important too : take this in Photoshop and try to paint it over to a result that looks close to what you want to do in 3D. You also have to ask yourself what restrictions you'll have to work with. Realtime? Pre-rendered? Also if you just want to produce a single image, and not an animation, you might want to look into camera mapping/advanced matte painting techniques. It's a very fast and easy way to produce epic landscape imagery at no cost.

Real time in an engine using low poly effects? Or balls to the wall use anything that's out there? In case it wasn't stated (disregard if it was) but what app?

you also need to figure out WHERE your light is coming from. Is it all natural light from the skylight above? is it torches scattered around? is it glowing mushrooms, or electric lights that someone hooked up? This isn't something we can decide for you. Deciding that will aide in your decision on how to light it.
