Hey Polycount! I'm engaged! Weeeeee!
Long story short: I was going to propose to her with an awesome super surprising proposal situation, but my girlfriend caught on to the plan and called me out on it, so I said, half joking, "Well, fine, I give up, now it's your turn!"...well, she took me up on it, came up with a cool plan of her own and proposed to me earlier today!
Just thought I'd share the news with Game Developin' buddies!
Also, I'm gonna be in London next week, Monday through Friday, to do tourist things. Anyone up for a meet up?

Cool that you're coming to London, unfortunately due to my awesome timing I'll be in Helsinki for the most part of that week.
I will be around locally on Friday though so if you've still got time on that day we could get lunch or coffee or whatever. I think I can remember what you look like from that CA.org workshop, what, 5 years ago?

mop - Yeah man...that was over half a decade ago..it's been a speedy few years. I'll still be around on Friday. Lunch or a coffeshop sounds like a good idea--I won't have a phone, but I should have internet access, so I'll send you a PM.

ian - yeah, I think I will be. Though, not for a few months I imagine. I'll probably remain in maynard for at least through the winter.

Also have fun in Londinium, sadly I won't be able to make it London way, working the next 2 days and im off to Holland on Friday on one of those guided History tours for the 65th anniversary of Operation Market Garden.
