I have heard some say its possible to get 3D models on a DS ?
Well i have heard some and seen some who toke a 3D model down on a DS ?.Can somebody tell what they did ?.

Like if it is possible to render 3d on the nintendo DS?
A.) sure it is,- its why we have DS now over the Advance
like putting your own 3d models (homebrew) on your nintendo DS?
A.) yes and now, with the latest firmware (a few days ago, the one with facebook photo upload support) nintendo prevented 3rd party hardware to work anymore with their device which makes it harder to run custom software on it.
Yes in the way that it was or is yet possible now without the new Firmware using custom software. Check the following threads for more details:
