Wanted to start my own sketchbook to motivate me to draw more and force me to update more often.

I'll start with a couple of finished one's and move on to sketches which i'll show progress on as i go along.

Very nice! I'm a fan of the sci-fi/retro blend you have going on. It makes me think of Malaveldt's vehicle concepts.

Is the missile truck meant to be in the style of Bionic Commando: Rearmed? It's mostly the bright colors that make me think so.

ZackF: Cheers for linking to Malaveldts gallery, some great stuff in there. There was no intention of making it similar to BC: Rearmed but with its colorscheme i can see the resemblance.

Got some solid progress on the Pirate Mecha thingy today. I'll finish it up tomorrow, i hope.

Really tight stuff man.

I think you should spend a little bit more time to get that percision in the perspective construction though, some of it looks out. for example the fuselage on the first plane looks slightly bowed towards us, and on the third one the perspective looks isometric. Other than that man really nice stuff.

Been absent for awhile, had some real life duties to take care of. Anyways i joined the multivaders team as a concept artists.

So so far i've made this Gunrange room where the marines practice marksmanship and level up :P

finished up the pirate mecha, went a bit overboard on the rendering but i had a blast doing it so i'm quite happy with it in the end. I do all my stuff on a laptop so im a bit uncertain how the color values look.

Very nice work, but I see some perspective issues. Your first model is very nice, but the wings do not match. Maybe it is intentional, but it reads as bad perspective. Your right wing also seems much larger than the left one, up front

Also, some of your sketches have their wheels look wobbly (train and rocket launcher), due to bad perspective. Once again, maybe it is supposed to be quirky and wobbly looking, but it seems accidental. If intentional is what you're aiming for, then you should really push the wobble factor, or try to straighten them out.

Otherwise, really nice work!
