Probably not the cleanest....or most finished of images, but I'd like your thoughts as to how this guy is turning out, I'm going for a melee-only warlord type person. The warhammer....may not be to scale. xD

I'd like to pump loads of small details into this character as I don't really do that normally, where do you guys think they should go? :)

    Well at the moment, the hammer is looking really well thought out. I can see some clear intent with what you were going for in it.

    The character design itself right now is also looking pretty solid, barring some anatomical issues which I can brush off as style for a concept. The only thing I son't like at the moment is it looks like with that solid mass of metal going across his collarbone and around his shoulders, he'd have pretty poor mobility with his arms.

    When I think of someone using a hammer, I think of a massive guy with his arms over his head ready to bring 20 tons of sexual frustration down onto whoever he's happened to pick a fight with. He's got the massive arms and hands, certainly. Now give him the freedom of movement to utilize it.

    Overall, very nice design. I'll be checking to see where you go with this.

    Just a bit of work on the head and face today, that's a scarf/shawl he's wearing on the left there :P

    Valkier, I haven't an image to upload of it yet, but I've taken your advice regarding the shoulders and just removed them completely, I kind of like his silhouette more without them now. :)

    More images on wednesday or so.
