I'm relatively new to firefox and I've only been using it for a few months. (Can't believe I stuck with IE for so long)

I was just wondering what add-ons you guys like and why you like them? I don't know much about what is out there...I'm currently running...

Adblock Plus
GooglePreview
New Tab Homepage
Foxmarks Bookmarks (my favorite because i can view my bookmarks from any PC)
NoScript

Vista-Aero Theme (easy transition for IE noobs like myself :) )

foxmarks - keeps your bookmarks the same between different locations, and you can access them online. Works great for me since I use 2 different computers at home, and one at work.

User Agent switcher - Good for identifying yourself as IE or Windows (I use Ubuntu). Some sites don't let you in unless you have Internet Explorer (which is ignorant).

Ad Block Plus - better ad blocker

BugMeNot - Doesn't work as well as it use to, but it sometimes works to avoid creating a login at a site you'll be using once (so you can see images, download something, ...)

DownloadHelper - download embedded content, like youtube, video, .... Good for downloading videos/trailers for later viewing.

I find mouse gestures for firefox un-live-without-able.

just dragging a right click backwards = pageback

drag a right click forwards = pageforward

drag up new tab drag down homepage, you get it by now..

I pity da foo that reaches for da toolbar.

AdBlock Plus because ads (on not-trusted sites) suck
    NoScript because web sites suck
DownloadHelper because I don't like watching MP4/FLV through SWF and prefer to do that through VLC
Java Quick Starter because it starts java quick
Web Dev because i like editing css in front of my eyes

-Adblock Plus for blocking a few ads (I don't just block everything)
-all-in-one Sidebar, although it's not working like I'd like and I might get rid of it
-CoolIris for a nice way to view flickr stuff. I don't use it as much as I should.
    -Download Statusbar, indispensable.
    -DownThemAll!, equally indispensable
-Evernote Web Clipper. Haven't used it yet, but I'm planning to start using Evernote some more.
    -Gmail Manager
-Google Toolbar for Firefox, basically only for the google bookmarks button.
-Greasefire, shows you when there are greasemonkey scripts available for the website you're on.
    -Greasemonkey
-Instantaction.com Game Launcher, although I've only played once. I love tribes, but I kept getting my ass handed to me.
-Smartpager for going from thread to thread with rmb+scroll
-Tabs open Relative, which is what the standard behaviour should be!
-Tiny Menu for cramming all the file, edit, view etc. menus into one button.

autohide - so i can work in full screen without hiding the windows toolbar, and the adress/bookmarks tabs. (i have a small screen, so filling it with unnecessary stuff like file etc. is annoying).

cooliris, and some more stuff you guys made me download.

CoolIris and DownThemAll! here. I don't have to tell you what they do... but I can't live without them. They've both saved me infinite amounts of clicking on various occations.

Flashblock: love it. only allows flash to run if you click the icon it puts over it. cuts down 95% of overly animated ads.

Ctrl-Tab (to be honest, I never use this. Not even sure what exactly it does)
    DownloadHelper
    DownThemAll!
Smart Bookmarks Bar (this one's nice; it allows me to have my bookmarks as simple icons above the page.)
    URL Fixer (never used)
Youtube Comment Snob (Link. Best add-on ever)

Office 2007 Black theme; looks exactly like Windows Zune and Blender Rounded, so my whole computer has this black/orange theme.

I use addblock plus against ads, Autopager for autoscrolling several pages without clicking the "next" button in forums, cooliris, simple mail only here at work because they blocked some ports for thunderbird mail, ctrl+tab for switching tabs via hotkey and tab-scope to preview tab-content (eye-candy only).
