I've learned a few new tricks in sub-D and now i'm working on taking my first low-mid poly handgun model and crafting it into a high poly piece.

Here are some screens of the more simple pieces i've completed so far in sub-d, a couple shots of the original model, and a reference pic.

Just some renders of the slide, which i finished today. The frame is the final piece to complete. I also have to go back and seperate some edges, as i was told they maybe to close for comfort.

But i;m starting to get the hang of sub-d...i think, haha.

yea you could definitely losen up some of the edges, they are too tight to get nice bevels in the normal map, they would be too sharp i think.
