Meh figured I could just use this space to post my wips and projects that are just me playing around with new things.
So on that note...
I'm currently playing with this guy. I never get to touch characters and I'm finding that while drinking beer it's relaxing pushing my wacom pen around.

Im hoping you will bring some traditional sculpting in here aswell
These are just rough proxy models to fill the scene in to see scale and what I want and don't want to include. As I progress I'll just update these models with the game res and then fully textured models.
For now I am using a default skybox from ut3.
I am changing a few things on them to better suit my needs and my design choices.
Here is the original concept of the droid.
The legs at the bottom are piston like chambers that help it walk. and the mechanical hinge like hip pieces slide in and out of the slits in the side of the legs and go up under the bubble like hull.
those surfaces look good, and look like they will bake nicely.
LOL! Awesome. That guy reminds me of some of the melting bums in the movie Street Trash.
