  Maybe you could try using particles rendered as "Blobby Surface".

  Hey,
  I just need to make one object. ie a sphere merge into another. Isnt there an easy way to do that?

  This here plugin is sadly only for 4.0 - 8.5.

  If you really just need 2 Spheres seemingly merge into each other, you could also try to "fake" it with NURBS Spheres and use the Circular Fillet Tool on them. Problem with that is when they are too far apart, the connecting Fillet will bork instead of just disappearing, and if one is inside the other, the fillet also doesn't disappear and just sits there.
