My Haunted House 2008!!

Ok so i finally got some pics together to show of my Haunted Cemetery. First year was gravestones, last year was the pillars. This year was the addition of re-usable pumpkins, lights to wrap around the ropes to keep kids from rushing the house, the Halloween Wreath, and some additional gravestones. Next year I hope to make a sweet pumpkin rot type scarecrow, I planned to do it this year but Halloween snuck up too fast!

Setting this up in a day ain't easy!

I had some friends take some sweet night shots that I hope to see soon. Most of my night shots were blurry and suck.

Those are pretty long exposures. Wasn't nearly as bright and neon.

Ya we got, i dunno about 40-50 kids? Would you say that many Sectaurs? My wife thinks it's close to 80 kids. I don't know for sure I was getting pretty tipsy by the end of the night:). The town puts on "fake-o-ween", which is where parents can take their kids to the local shops the night before Halloween between 4-6pm. I've noticed less and less kids showing up now because of it. It's totally retarded IMO. We also have a curfew at 8pm on Halloween so between 6-8pm is the time frame. Which is kind of lame too. When i was a kid i remember staying out until like 10pm. It was AWESOME. My plan is just to make the most awesome display EVAR so that kids beg their parents to take them. Thus winning the battle against 'fake-o-ween'. I have to say the best feeling is when I hear a kid say "Oh mom/dad this is the AWESOME house from last year."

Man, thats awesome, it looks like the ideal halloween in my head (you know, the one that you see in films and always hoped to experience in real life as a kid but no one did anything nearly as cool as that so it always sort of sucked.)
