Ok so I got accepted to the beta on this.
I never finished the first one. I probably should. Some of you say it gets better later in the game so maybe I'll go back and finish it up.
So my impression at first.
Graphics. Meh... Some stuff looks nice while other stuff is ok. I haven't played any single player and I'm keeping an open mind because this is a downloadable beta so who knows if things were compressed more or what not.
That aside.
Game play. Multiplayer.
Smooth and I was on a 60 man server. 30 vs 30. That was insane on a console and I saw no lag at all. Of course this could also be a reason why the graphics are tuned way down but honestly this was impressive. Huge battles.
Would love to have a Call of Duty or war game with more of this sort of team sizes.
I am gonna give the other modes a shot tonight but so far I will say that this does look like a solid shooter for the ps3. Not mind blowing OMG gotta have it yet but a good pick up for another shooter on the ps3.

I'm very interested in this one though as I hear it plays a lot better now, plus I've heard nothing but awesomeness about it, so i'll probably pick it up after I get back from my trip.
