The sequel to the game that had the demo version tacked on to the Orange Box has just popped up on Steam. You know you're excited. I can see it in your eyes. Oh, you pretend to be apathetic but you can't hide it.
"I'm well hardcore. I don't play them casual games" you say, yet your mouse is inexorably drawn to the Steam console.

So, er, did anyone else -really- get into the original whilst waiting for Portal, Hl2 and TF2 to download? Surely I'm not the only one, and likewise not the only one who bought the sequel the moment it appeared. Right?

Played the hell out of Peggle Extreme with the Orange Box, so did my girlfriend. Soon after, bought the game and about 6 hours into the morning after we bought it, she was still playing, with me falling asleep in the chair next to her.

Peggle Nights purchase for sure, soon.

Yes, Peggle is strangely fun and addictive. I love playing it. It's the quality most casual games should be. I mostly play the version on their site.

It's funny, I began playing Peggle Extreme when the Orange Box was announced. I told my friends, and they would say "yeah, looks like a great game...for 6 year old girls." Within a couple weeks they were all addicted, playing during their lunch. My gf is still addicted. Good thing, it replaced Bejeweled.

Toomas: you can try the original on their site. Don't be lame.

Peggle is awesome. Never played the version that comes with Orange Box, but I assume it is the same.

I played the crap out of the free one, but for some reason never bought the full version. I'm waiting for the XBLA and DS versions I think.. I should get it anyway, amazing experience!

Yeah. We're talking about a fun $10 game. Not $60 waste of time. This is a 25 MB download, not a 25 GB install. The system requirements are...you know it doesn't matter. The game can be played on a webpage. I'd say that's convenient. What improvements would you expect from this? What satisfies you? Why are we debating Peggle?!

Peggle is brilliant. The half luck, half skill gameplay allows you to blame a failure on luck and a victory on skill. I had a lot of fun with the original, will definitely get this one down the road.

Peggle is awesome. So easy, yet challenging, that my 3 and 4 year olds played it and had a blast. My wife and I were both addicted to it for awhile too.
