At our studio we are producing a full-blown Starfox parody for the iPhone ALA 'Team America'-style. So far it's been pretty fun(ny) working on the game. I'm currently working on the player's ship, crits and comments are more than welcome

Seems a bit odd that you've emphasized the angles as much as you have, especially on the bottom of the wings.
Looks decent though.

im currently workin on a Iphone project at my job to (though not as fun looking as this does) but dont you think the texture is rather large for iphone? I was told keep it within DS based confines when modeling/ texturing

biggest texture where using is 128 currently..

how many ships will be on screen at a time?

cool. worth mentioning that a team called "starwolf" is part of the starfox universe i think. you might get sued.

yeah, I think it's worth noting that starwolf is starfox's rival in starfox64 and I think even teams up with starfox in some of the newer games.

Texture rez for iPhone is huge. You can load at least 2x1024^2 in memory. Since the screen is small, it probably has the best texal to screen ratio of any system besides PC.
