Who's going in a few weeks? I'll be down there for the duration. Just wanted to check and see all who's going to attend.

Why wouldn't he go? It's a 3 hour drive from Dallas at most, and there will be plenty of us from the industry there. He may have just landed a job, but it's always a good idea to keep good contacts. There are plenty of folks in Austin that can tell you that after the recent lay offs in our area.
I am sick of getting spammed by their marketing dept. and I tried to get off their mailing list a few dozen times a year, written them emails of complaint etc etc.
