Hello all, my name is Erik Dolphin. Figured I'd start off here with the sketchbook section.
Just a little bit about me; I'm a soon to be graduate of AI in Pittsburgh in Game Art and Design. In the process of compiling my portfolio so I decided to throw up some favs here. I consider myself a jack of all, master of none, but i greatly enjoy drawing concept work and textures. I'm looking forward to posting more here on Polycount as time frees up for me.

Base on the same character from above. Yes the scales are all hand painted, quite a pain but I chose to do it on the diffuse rather than a normal.
Lower poly aquatic vehicle. I few inefficient sections on the uvs such as the lens, but that was a last minute change in the map mid process :poly132:

Finally getting back to this thing with some decent updates
and a few wips;
like those weapons and the red dude. MOAR
I dig the weapons mainly. Sectaurs is right...never render on pure black or white. It would be neat to see you give your beauty shots the same background treatment you've given your concepts. Your 2D in general is good, I'd ditch the "undead gunslinger" and the vehicle on your professional 'folio, though....they scream unfinished/unpolished/quick.
Tell Styers that Chris says he misses random stories about machine guns and "the country". :]
